Nuclear Subsidy Proposal

Have you heard about the nuclear subsidy proposal circulating within the Pennsylvania General Assembly? It proposes that by 2021, utilities would be required to source as much as 50% of their power from nuclear energy. This initiative is under the Pennsylvania’s Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act. Currently, 42% of power comes from nuclear energy.

When water freezes, it expands about 9% in volume. As the water expands, it puts a great force on the inside of the pipe and when pressure gets too high, the pipe ruptures. A ruptured pipe can reap havoc on your home and be rather costly. To prevent such an experience, read over some of these tips we provided below!
